I stayed home and... CGed and programmed all weekend.
But I will go to AN this year! Finally!
Hopefully...!And you have a long chocolate bar, or a short arm.
Did you know there's an average of eight insect legs per chocolate bar? The more you know~
get rid of the hopefully part, you MUST. im going and i don't even have a place to stay ok
hey, toblerones are huge
dude we eat like on avg 8 spiders a year sleeping ok
Stay somewhere over the rainbow. They're always open.Okay, I don't know what you do in your sleep, but most people eat an average of 2 spiders.
wut
i thought it was 9 then i realized it was 8
where'd you get 2
The average person actually does not eat/swallow spiders in their sleep. For a person to swallow a spider in their sleep, the spider must fall off from the ceiling directly into your mouth (which is already very unlikely) since spiders will not crawl into your mouth since virtually all arthropods will flee from breath (just like how animals will avoid their predators). And this within itself is very unlikely, and will probably require a spider egg sac to hatch in the person's room, which is exceedinly rare and will not happen to the average person. Even if some people do breath in newly hatched spider babies by accident, it is still not enough to raise the average.
However no study was ever done to confirm or debunk this fact, since it would require filming numerous people sleeping in different environments for six months. Then meticulously examining all the compiled video to check for wandering spiders. And no one would ever fund that.
As well, the fact (and other false facts) was originally compiled into a list by columnist Lisa Holst when she wrote a proffessional article about how people will readily believe facts found in print or circulating the internet. Holst actually took this fact from a collection of common misbeliefs printed in a 1954 book on insect folklore. Nowadays, this false fact along with the others have become some of the most famous false information circulating the internet.
So, all in all, an average person does not swallow eight spiders per year in their sleep. It is only an urban legend.
So you are right since you guessed that eight was the original number published in the list of false facts. And my guess (2 spiders) was closer to the real number which is nearly zero.
need to explain to me the phone button thing too .___.
actually,to let me add on to that, i remember that i was actually like your sprite/dreaming life idk conscious idk call it whatever, that eats the spiders.
in other words, we actually dont. //loses the argument either way LOL
